Sound good, but other issues.

The sound is good, but we have a lot of issues with the sound coming on when we turn on the tv. Sometimes it comes on by itself, other times I've had to reconnect by either unplugging it, or start over as if I were just installing. We've also noticed that it will cut out for a second. I purchased since I've had good luck with the brand before. I also think the app could be better, like stoping a stop and start option on the radio. Also wish "updates" were not required. I really just wanted a sound bar that I could turn on and it worked every time.

We are happy to forward your request to pause Internet radio within the SoundTouch app. The purpose for updates is to integrate new product features and these changes generally come from feedback by customers such as yourself.

Turning off CEC functionality on your TV will greatly improve the consistency of your audio. Different brands may call this technology by their own name. For instance, Samsung refers to it as "Anynet" and Sony "Bravia Sync". If you'd like help with these, we have technical experts available. You can reach us at 1-800-379-2073. really amazing!....when it works...

had this for a year now. really amazing speakers and the sound is really high quality......but speakers get disconnected maybe once a week, all of a sudden no sound....i have to unplug everything to kind of like do a reset, then ot would start working again. so thats my review. really amazing when it works. i called support already but they said they are working on it. this problem somehow happens often with samsung 4k tvs. so far last time it happened to me was 3 weeks ago. so lets see. maybe they updated it and fix the issue

This is the 3rd Bose sound system in my house. Absolutely ridiculous that it doesn’t work out of the box. This will probably be the last Bose system I purchase.

I purchased the whole kit, 3 weeks ago, now the 2 amber lights are blinking and the unit stops working. I was hesitant, given all the negative reviews

1. Turn the soundbar off
2. Unplug the soundbar power cord from the power outlet
3. Wait 30 seconds
4. Reconnect the power cord
5. Wait 30 seconds for the system to reboot

So, this is truly an amazing system! To get all of the benefits/ sound from it, you need a good 4K TV. I had an older Samsung 4K TV and just got a new one today. The difference is unbelievable after connecting the new TV, crazy good! The sound is unbelievable with the new TV. The bose system went from good to amazing!

Five star BUT.....

Finally, we decided to go all out and spoil ourselves this Christmas. We purchased the Sound Touch 300 sound bar along with the bass module. The system demonstration at our local audio store left an impression on us and after enjoying our current system for 16 years we had to upgrade! With that said the setup seemed simple enough out of the box. It absolutely was not! My husband and I spent our entire evening trying to hook this up. It really isn't a difficult process and certainly we can follow set up instructions. However.....we ran into some road block and had to read from the manual on out cell phones to get the problem solved. Really Bose, you couldn't include a manual with your premium sound system, one that is far superior than the rest of the market? Something that seems so standard was over looked due to saving a dollar on printing out a manual. In this technology age the consumer can just go online and look it up! Not convenient at all

Never ever use this for your TV

Have had it for a week and still cannot make it work with my TV. I reset, reconnected, and restarted for hundreds of times and followed every single word on the start guide. At last I have to fall back to my TV's speaker. I cannot be more disappointed about a product. Don't waste your money on this garbage. I will try to return it. Bose, please hire a couple of good engineers to make your speaker actually speak.
