Good have been a great product

Who puts ONE HDMI input. I have a cable box, Blu-ray player and Sony PS4. Most household's have several devices requirin a minimum of 3 inputs. So why just one?

We are happy to clarify the setup of this system. Many of our home theater customers have multiple devices for entertainment. This system is designed to have those devices all connected to the inputs on the television, which acts as a switcher. Whatever you are seeing on screen, you will hear through the Bose system.

To accomplish that, the Bose would receive a single cable from the television for the audio signal. That would typically be an HDMI cable with an audio return channel (ARC) or an optical cable connected to the television's audio output. We'd be happy to walk you through any portion of the setup. Audio Lag is annoying. Will probably return.

The audio is never in sync with the video. Changing the settings on my tv does no good.

Finally, my prayers answered!
Why? Short answer: PhaseGuide, Acoustimass, rear-wireless, and 4K HDMI.
Unparalleled clarity and L/R separation of PhaseGuide - if you listen to a SoundTouch 130 - but then, the absence of rear wireless was a deal breaker
Acoustimass bass that have bass like no other - both low and mid frequencies it sounds like - remember those Bose demos that were superb due to such modules alone?
Rear-wireless - got to have that - no pesky wires to trip on
4K HDMI - hope it works with HDR - must have when the TV ARC is stereo only (not always so with modern TVs)
Time to for a new home for my Maggies - perhaps!
Sonos, your turn! Goodbye Sony & Samsung sound-bars/tin-cans!

Not getting surround sound i expected

I recently purchased the sound bar and the accoustimass and I have to say I'm utterly disappointed. From what I had read and heard when purchasing this setup I thought I would be getting a surround sound system that was simple to install. To my disappointment, not only was the installation process a headache but there's absolutely no depth to the sound. When I did the acqustic IQ set up I was excited as it sounded like the system was cable of creating a surround sound. However, after watching a few different movies and shows I have yet to get anything that would qualify as surround sound. While the speakers can play at high volume they provide absolutely no depth. I'm hoping I messed up in the installation process or else I'll be returning the system. For what's it's worth I did not purchase the rear speakers but from what I was told I wouldn't not need the money to get the surround sound quality.

Pay shipping and I'll give you the full set up

Bought the the complete system. After 6 months I've decided I'd rather listen to the TV sound than put up with all the trouble the Bose system creates. Several minutes of silence at start up, sporadic connection, no on screen information.

Terrible Set-up

Three times now we've tried to keep the system working, but it shuts "off" mid-programming. Very frustrating--and nothing seems to fix it. Add to that, no customer support number to call.

its a mission to install

I bought this today. It was so complicated to install that it took almost 3 hours. By the time it was install and we did the little head thing to get the better sound the movie kong skull island was over. It work for a little bit then the sound went off it was to complicated to run.... I like old school things easy to run easy to do easy to enjoy. I am writing this review as I am packing everything back to return it. Watching tv should not be a mission...... Sorry bose very disappointed.
