I was highly impressed with the quality of the Bose Soundtouch 300. The setup was very easy and the directions on how to calibrate the sound itself was very intuitive. I found the intial setup to be more advanced than other systems I have used which seemed to enhance of the overall quality of the sound bar. The sound of the Soundtouch is very premium and reaches a good range of highs and lows and projects the sound well so you have a really enjoyable listening experience. I was also impressed with its ability to stream music (very important to me). The sound was superb and I didn’t have any issues with losing connection or poor range. I have struggled in the past with not having good range on my previous sound bar so this was a major plus. I would highly recommend this Soundbar as it has really amazing sound, range and is top quality.

Since 2001 I have been a Bose owner. I have the Bose Acoustimass Series 6 II. and those were (are ) my most pride possession when it come to surround sound. But when I saw the SoundTouch 300 at Best-buy I said to my self. I got to have them. I have been wanting to have wireless speakers in my home for such a long time. After having this for nearly three weeks. I am in love with my sound system. It was so easy to setup. So easy to pair and the sound Oh My Goodness is Amazing well what you expect is Bose quality. When I watch my movies I feel like I am at the movie theater again and The music is more rich in sound and TV shows oh boy are amazing, every single sound that is in the video is present in my leaving room Like if I am in the movie and not at the movie. I am sorry if I am talking too much hear but Like I said I am in love. If you are contemplating on buying this sound bar, with the sub-woofer and the speakers. Don't delay, you will not be sorry. You will not want to leave your home specially on game night. Well got to go I have a movie waiting for me. Enjoy it if you get it.

I have been purchasing Bose products since 1990, and they have out done themselves with the SoundTouch 300 soundbar and SoundTouch 300 Acoustimass. I first heard it in the PX (I'm retired military), and there were about 25 people standing around listening at the unbelievable sound that was coming from the the system and it seemed as though nobody wanted to leave. They had it set up where you could listen to just the soundbar or with the Acoustimass and which ever one was playing the sound was remarkable. I wasn't leaving without taking it with me, so I bought it. Man, this thing is awesome. If you are a music person you cant go wrong. You get what you pay for, pure quality and perfect sound. I listen to a lot of smooth jazz and you can tell me that the saxophonist is not in my den performing live, it's just an awesome experience. Theater sound is remarkable as well. I haven't purchased the SoundTouch surround speakers yet, when I went back to the PX to purchase them, they were sold out but were on order, so I'm just waiting for them to come in. Set up is simple and the physical presence brings a about a sense of elegance to your room. This system is a step above the rest, thanks to BOSE.

Much better than I expected

I had two sets of Bose Cinemate 1SR. The bass module for the family room one broke after using it daily for a several years, and I felt that it was time for me to upgrade. I went to the Bose store, and looked at Soundtouch 300. The sales showed me the sound with center channel only, then with the bass module, and bass module and rear speaker added at the end. I was very impressed. The sound field was just as good as 1SR, if not, larger. And the bass was much more. I took the whole thing home.
After setting it up, I watched some movies and pleasantly surprised that the rear speakers sound awesome! It does not get any better in this price range. It is a bonus that I get to adjust the volume for the center and the rear on the app. I recommend this to everyone.

Let me start with how awesome the quality of Bose have reach levels beyond any of my expectations. I have acquire this speaker around a week and a half ago and I am surprised on how awesome the experience with it can be. Let me break down the review in some positive and improvements (or observations) for simplicity: Positive aspects: 1. Design. I was expecting a sound bar (like any other) to be functionally appropriate and to have the design oriented to the goal. The design however of this sound bar is frankly breath taking. It looks awesome and I enjoy to have it at home even when is off. 2. Crisp sound. The quality of the sound of this device is simply fantastic. Is crisp and clear, have awesome treble and a moderate amount of bass (for the soundbar ALONE) 3. The remote... I LOVE THAT REMOTE. It is a nice quality item with an easy configuration and the ability to control my TV, my Apple TV, even my Play Station!!! WELL DONE BOSE 4. I can hear Pandora an any other internet based radio... is that awesome or what? is FANTASTIC!!! sometimes I turn off the tv and just hear the awesome music without the need of any earphones or else. 5. Adaptation to the environment. I have placed this sound bar in 5 different places (I'm an engineer, I have to experiment) and with the audio configuration procedure (specified in the manual... ), it ADAPTS to each space awesomely, calibrating each position you usually have to watch tv or listen to music. Areas of improvement: 1. The bar itself is an awesome device, but without the subwoofer it loses a big amount of the power this device can give. Please don't take me wrong, the soundbar itself sounds amazing but I have another soundbar at home (that come with the subwoofer), and I can tell the need for the subwoofer to achieve total satisfaction. I believe that is a fairly awesome product that wont disappoint you... If you want total satisfaction, I suggest you to go also for the subwoofer... and if you have more budget, the complementary speakers will make your experience a dream.

Excellent Sound from a Sleek Soundbar

Bottom Line Up Front: This SoundTouch 300 sounds really nice. We replaced a terrific Bose Solo 10 with this model, and the SoundTouch offers distinctly richer, fuller sound.
Unboxing the product was average which is fine with me, but some people appreciate a ceremonious unboxing experience. The product is attractive, low, and wide, and it will present well with larger televisions. Connecting to our television was straightforward. While the SoundTouch offers HDMI ARC connectivity, the optical digital audio connection worked best with our setup.
The audio setup process was unusual. You place a headset with a microphone at the top on your head, and follow audio prompts to sit in several spots in the listening area. Twice this process failed for me. Then I removed the headset to point the mic directly at the soundbar instead of the ceiling. Setup was then a breeze.
The SoundTouch 300 works with Bose SoundTouch app (Windows, Mac, iOS, Android). I used the Windows and iOS apps. The interfaces are identical. This is fine for Windows, but its departure from iOS paradigms made it a bit confusing on my iPhone. The interface looks sleek, but it is not very intuitive. That said, it will quickly connect your music service from your phone to the soundbar via Bluetooth and will allow you to control the volume without any performance lag. Same for the Windows application. Many music services are natively supported (Spotify, Pandora, etc.), but Apple Music is conspicuously missing. However, it can be played via the direct Bluetooth connection. The Bose apps will show the track information and will synchronize in real time allowing you to control iPhone playback from your Windows computer. Not bad, at all. The app can also update the software on the soundbar.
The SoundTouch remote is very capable. It paired with our electronic devices easily and controls them well. If users are not keenly aware of what device needs to be controlled to achieve a given configuration, they might find themselves confused. To be fair, this criticism applies to most multi-device remotes. Overall, the buttons are thoughtfully placed for easy access, and they provide nice tactile feel when pressed.
The sound produced by the SoundTouch 300 really is refreshing. For mundane viewing like news or a basic program, the voices are clear and distinct from the background tracks. For movies with more aggressive audio presentations, the SoundTouch fills the room with richer tones and wider stereo effects. The bass is present and balanced without drowning out the higher frequencies. Volume control is precise allowing you to achieve just the right volume (some less sophisticated soundbars offer just ten volume levels). Audio fidelity remains excellent whether the volume is low, medium, or high (a significant factor for why I appreciate Bose products).
We really like the SoundTouch 300 and would confidently recommend it to friends and family who appreciate better sound.

Amazing clarity and spacious involving surround so

Bought it today to replace my Monitor Audio ABS-2, with large Subwoofer (Quad L2)... so I bought the Touch 300, bass module and surround speakers...... first off, they look great together, and made my bedroom look more spacious, the rear set up brackets were a bit fiddly.. one screw wouln’t Stay in place, so I put up the rear speakers without the brackets.... ran through the adaptIQ setup, put a quick movie on to test.... and I was soo impressed! Seriously spacious sound (I added more bass...)... but seriously ... I’m going to recommend to my parents and in laws to replace their ageing surround with this set up. I have a big rig in my living room, with 5.2.1, spent well over $30k in the sound only ... and seriously ... the Bose sounds awesome..... not the same... but sounds still very good comparing to the extremely expensive set up .... if I had to do it again.... I would go Bose only ....
