Best sound bar bose has released yet, love the fact that you can expand the system, from a sound bar to adding rear virtually invisible speakers, to adding a base module. Best base ever!

loses connectivity with my tv with the ark port

i can be watching TV AND THE SOUNDBAR WILL JUST LOSE CONNECTIVITY WITH MY TV i was doing some research and its a common thing that happens with this bar i love it i just wish thed fix it or get a patch id like to be able to use my HDMI cable but i cant i have to Bluetooth it or use the other cable they give you . I THINK IT HAS TO DO SOMETHING WITH THE NEW ark port they have but besides that its an amazing sound bar id recommend to anyone.

I have both the soundbar and the bass module and the sound is phenomenal! There is no other sound system in the market which produces the same effect.

Outstanding value...

I bought this system a few weeks ago, and it has outstanding sound. I did put acoustic foam tiles in the room, which really enhances the sound, and makes the system sound like it is coming from all around the room (not just from the speaker). My only disappoint was, that there were things that needed to be explained by Bose's excellent support on the phone, during the set-up process; as the instructions were lacking. Also, my Sony Blue-ray dvd player won't skip forward to the next track using the Bose Remote (it only skips 30 seconds at a time). Hopefully, that glitch can be fixed some day.
The sound is really amazing, especially in a small(er) bedroom, with the walls prepped with foam on it. If you don't put this (or any system) in a proper prepped room, don't be upset about the system, it can only reflect based on the room that you put it in.

Disappointed

Bought the entire set up 2 weeks ago, VI speakers, acoustimass and soundbar and Bluetooth Bluetooth cuts out constantly. I had the 321 system before and it worked great! This set up IMO is not worth the price tag, I ended up returning the the entire setup. The price you pay for this set up you shouldn’t be going through these constant issues. The VI speakers are ok...gives surround but it’s not as loud as you think they would be. The acoustimass is ok as well, I’ve heard more bass with the 321 system. The soundbar sounds flat in my opinion and doesn’t distinguish the bose quality sound that I’m used to hearing. I honestly believe the bose Bluetooth system is weak and needs more evaluation to perfect it as the other systems out there. Very disappointed in this product as bose is known for producing quality sound. The updates that have been coming out for the system haven’t helped either, to be honest it seems that every update the system gets worse. I’m usually confident about purchasing bose products by now I think I will explore other options just from this experience. Would I recommend this to a friend? Definitely not this system, I’m sure there are other products that could meet or beat the quality for a better price with less issues that I’ve experienced. Do the research as you will see I am not the only one with these issues.

Awesome Bedroom System

I purchased the 300 SoundTouch Soundbar and Subwoofer 18 JAN 17 and had it professionally installed in my bedroom concealing all of the wires and it looks ascetically great and clean. The sound was so powerful and clear and deep I had to hug my install guy. The Bluetooth feature connected so quickly, not even within 2 seconds it was working on my phone. Streaming music never sounded so punctual and clear. Paired with my OLED Tv its a superb system. I HIGHLY recommend it to someone that is serious and committed to having a supreme set up in any room.

In a class of its own!

I was looking at getting a new 5.1 surround system (refusing to even look at "sound bars"). I had heard many sound bars, never once impressed. I mean how could you possibly get the immersive sound you need to truly delve into a movie ? Well they had a demo set up at a store I was in. Now I hated sound bars, every one I've heard. I decided to mess with the demo while I was waiting for my buddy to check out. And..... I am a believer! I came back the very next day. I bought both the Sound Touch 300 sound bar and subwoofer. I promise you, the sound will blow you away even compared to full surround systems. Next on my list are the virtually invisible speakers and a few other son touch speakers to put around the house. Oh and I almost forgot the most user-friendly universal remote I've ever had or set up.

Sound problems solved

I hadn’t used a soundbar before this one and I really wanted one. Or should I say needed one. I just didn’t realize how badly I needed one. The living room in our house where we are using this soundbar is a very large room with vaulted ceilings. The acoustics aren't all that great. I have a 55" Vizio television with the speakers on the back and unless the sound is turned up ridiculously high I have a hard time hearing it.
The setup was straight forward and there were quick connect instructions. You can pretty much just plug it in and go. There is a headset included that you wear on your head and sit in five different locations in the room so it can calibrate the optimum sound for all viewers. The furthest I tested it out was about 20 feet and still had some slack in the cord.
This soundbar went way beyond my expectations. I can hear every sound without having to turn the volume up so high. I have watched a few programs that I had seen before without the soundbar and can hear a lot of little sounds that I couldn’t hear before. I was amazed.
The high and mid sounds are great and it has plenty of bass for what we need, which is to watch television and the occasional movie. I used the bluetooth feature and connected my smartphone and played music through the soundbar and it was rich and clear.
This soundbar is worth every penny and Bose will be the first place to turn to for any audio needs.
