This sound bar sounds amazing!

I purchased the sound bar 300 along with the sub-woofer, when I purchased a new television for the family room. The speakers fill up the room, it's like watching a movie in the theater.

Bought the SoundTouch 300 and the Acoustimass 300 wireless bass module together. Set up was absolutely simple - plug and play types.
Plugged it using HDMI ARC with my Sony 690E TV.
Sound is just fab - crisp dialogues with amazing thunder. Honestly, I do not have enough words to describe.
Immerse into a different world and enjoy!

Excellent Soundbar

I recently took down my wired surround sound system wanting to simplify my system and i didn't want to see big speakers and wires anymore.I bought the Soundbar,Sub woofer and rear surround speakers. This system sounds just as good as the Marantz receiver and definitive tech speakers that i took down,For Many years I didn't like the Bose sound it was missing something,This soundbar is different,Crisp clean highs, clear mids and nice tight bass,The sub woofer Has plenty of tight clean bass to shake my living room.As far as the surround sound i am now hearing sounds from the rear speakers That i've never heard before in movies that i've seen many times,The only thing Bose needs to do with this system is add the software for Dolby Atmos .Then all i would need to do is add another pair of the wireless surround speaker for atmos.

Excellent Sound and Wireless Features

The Bose SoundTouch 300 sound bar by itself is does not sound that spectacular, but when it is paired with the acoustamass bass module - man this thing is awesome. Is there something cheaper? Yes. Is there something that might sound better? Probably. But for the simplicity, clean design (no abmoxios LEDs), quick setup time, and wireless connectivity to the bass module - and something that just works, this is a win for me. I have the virtual invisible 300 surround speakers - but they are not hooked up at the moment. However with out the rear speakers, this bar does a fairly good job at throwing the sound to make it sound like surround sound. Best sound bar that I have used, again only if paired with the bass module - otherwise just the sound bar is underwhelming and would leave you desiring more.

Sleek & Stylish

The soundbar 300 is a sleek and stylish device Bose has ever made. I am really impressed with the sound quality and the bass on the soundbar alone. I was contemplating whether to buy the subs later on but after testing it at home, the bass on the soundbar is perfect. It is definitely something to get!

Impressive sound quality

If you're looking for an attractive, well-built soundbar that delivers a clear and immersive listening experience...this is it. Without being obtrusive, the ST300 produces an amazing field of sound for both movies and music. Granted, my comments are based on using it in an apartment living room, but if that's what you're working with as well, you will not be disappointed. Easy to set-up with AdaptiQ and provides enough connections for me (I don't play video games). For an apartment, the soundbar alone provides a strong amount of bass. No need to purchase the AM300. Although, I would definitely recommend getting the Virtually Invisible speakers for that surround sound experience with both movies and music (the poor reviews that it has are not justified, you need to know how properly to set them up by running AdaptiQ with the speakers further away from the actually listening position and then placing them closer once calibration is complete, this allows AdaptiQ to adjust the default volume higher and you can then increase the presence of the surround speaker using the Soundtouch app). Overall, great system.

Traded in old Sonos Playbar for this and love it

Lets face it, Sonos had the market cornered with wireless multi room sound for years and they nailed the TV soundbar market with great sound and wireless to boot. Unfortunately they never kept up with the times and their 4 year old sound bar was dated and too big and ugly for a stylish set up so I wanted to trade up and out of the Sonos ecosystem. Bose has been doing audio for years and has the market cornered when it comes to great sound and home theater. This item is no exception. Alone it sounds good, but throw in the Acoustimass Sub and the Invisible surrounds and you will get a complete 5.1 system that sounds great. Plus the bar looks sleek and stylish on the wall and so do the other speakers. They do not look like humongous boxes on stands and the sound bar does not take up my mantle space. Granted the Bose app needs lots of work and they are still working out kinks with the ARC HDMI but they are one of the few soundbars that has ARC HDMI and Sonos is still stuck with just an optical option. Do yourself a favor, investigate both of these systems. I think you will come away going with Bose over Sonos.
