This is ridiculous!

I purchased the house for my daughter who was ecstatic to receive it. Everything was smooth sailing until the software updated and the house WiFi quit working. We have literally tried everything. Soft resetting the house, resetting to factory settings, resetting our WiFi, reinstalling the app. Short of tearing apart the house, we have literally tried everything!! It’s so frustrating! We will be calling tech support tomorrow and then they can’t resolve our WiFi problem, this expensive hunk of junk is going back!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Total Disappointment

We never splurge on such expensive toys, but did for this house. Spending $300 plus warranty coverage was a big deal for our family. To find out that it can no longer be used as advertised is beyond disappointing. Shame on Mattel for not having a back-up plan. I am sure there are going to be lots of disappointed kids out there. I was told they stopped making this toy in October of 2018. Some families had less than a year to use it.

Wifi disaster! Christmas bummer!

I bought this Barbie Hello Dreamhouse expecting a Smart house that would work great! This did not happen and I have one upset little girl. The wifi does not connect no matter where the house is placed. Constantly getting errors for wifi connection. You could probably put it on top of the router and it would still not work! Very disappointed. NOT worth the almost $300 dollars spent!

COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT

This was a Christmas gift for our daughter. It worked for 2 days. Since then, we get 'error code 18', which states there are technical difficulties on their end and the house can't play. HUGE WASTE OF MONEY

Don’t buy if you may have to move it - ever

The toy is cool but the minute you move it from one location to another, you start getting error messages that it’s not assembled correctly. You’ll check all the connections and they are tight but Barbie just keeps telling you there’s a problem.

Hello Error Code 11...Bring on the tears!

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas (from Santa) it worked great for the first 10 minutes she was having so much fun! I have to say I was having fun too. That's when error code 11 started...there seems to be a problem with the doors. We took the doors out and put them back in every time error code 11 came on. Nothing seemed to work including the doors....we had to take it apart and return the not so dreamy dream house. Because it came from "Santa" my daughter is expecting a new one that WORKS! I am super nervous to order another one.. What to do? Also, it says it can respond to over 100+ commands...do you think I could find a list of those commands anywhere? That was frustrating too!

Amazing toy!

My 8-year old got this from Santa and it's amazing! I was skeptical of getting this toy because of the price, but found a good deal and couldn't resist. It does so much and my 3 girls have spent countless hours playing with this in the last 3 days. It understands most commands, sometimes have to repeat. The only problem has been it's said error code 18 several times and then wont do what it's supposed to do. I would love to know how to
Fix this! Really hoping it continues to work, such amazing technology! I think its totally worth it and have really enjoyed this toy!

This doll house is a piece of junk. Can't connect to wifi like all the other people having same issue. Called Mattel and they say I must be in front of the playset for them to be able to assist me. Guess what I have to be at work to pay for your piece of junk.
