Does not connect to Wifi. Sad experience for kid!

The doll house was easy to assemble however I kept receiving error code 8 after I selected my wifi on the app. Even after moving it next to router. I switched internet providers a week after I got doll house so tried again with the set-up. I even used a paper clip to reset settings. First time around I saw dreamhouse in settings but it did not connect. So I tried again but the light stays red and never turns green for me to connect. This has been very frustrating. Even the guy who installed my internet thought the house was challenging. We tried so many things and this won't work. My kid is devastated and she bought it with her birthday money. Would not recommend this to anyone for the current price.

Brand New - Doesn't Work !!! Birthday Upset

Error Codes, Updates, won't connect to wifi and no manual mode for play, what good is a dream house that doesn't work? For $250, big upset.

The dream house no longer responds to commands so having this very expensive toy is pointless if it does not function the way it is intended to. My daughter is very disappointed. This product has been a problem and hassle from the beginning. The first house we received was put together then did not work and had to be exchanged. I would definitely not recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect Christmas present!! I can not say enough good things about this purchase. My daughter loves it and plays with it daily. I was a bit skeptical about purchasing it due to all the negative reviews. We did have some trouble setting up the WiFi due to it being Christmas Day and extremely loud in my house. Once it was quiet my husband followed the instructions and had no problem getting it all set up. Helpful hint: we have it located right by our router. There have been no issues in WiFi or functions since we originally set it up. Loads of fun and still discovering new functions daily! Great job Matel!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is absolutely ridiculous we spent so much money on this for its features and now they are being discontinued. We purposely spent more money on this house for the fun features. And now all we can use are the lights and sounds that we can find with any barbie house. What a joke, what is the point of making such a thing to turn around and then get rid of it?!

Daughter crying

How do I explain to my daughter that her favorite Christmas present ever, that was given to her by Santa, is no longer working? She is devastated and so am I. I’m going to think carefully before buying future Mattel products since you have caused so much heartache.

Expensive product that won't do what you paid for

Purchased this over priced dream house for my 5yr old a year ago because specifically because of the interactive feature. I was just emailed that the interactive talking feature will be disabled in a month!!! To spend $350 on a product to find out that it will no longer work for the only reason you bought it for is infuriating!! Told my daughter yesterday and she is so sad because her and her sister LOVE playing with it. They have so much fun giving the dream house commands and watching it do what they say. I will no longer purchase Mattel products.

Bought this for my daughter for the interactive features and she loves it!! And now I just received an email saying it will be discontinued! Are you freaking kidding me!!!! I will never buy Mattel every again!!! This is just absurd!! I just wasted over $300!!
