Why!? Worked great, kids are DEVASTATED!

So upset , had NO idea this was going to happen! Product worked perfectly, kids LOVED it! Now this expensive toy is useless, buttons do not work, nothing! My daughters are DEVASTED. PLEASE, MATTEL, if you have a heart, you should fix. Otherwise don’t think I can buy another product of yours this is sick thing to do to kids!

My daughter went to play with her Barbie dreamhouse and you guys pulled the voice feature????? Are you serious??? How is she suppose to interactive with the freaking thing?? She’s EXTREMELY disappointed! I can’t believe you guys did this.

Was almost a Christmas disaster but wait!

Almost disappointed. Tried many things but here are some helpful hints:
1) make sure you connect the connectors before you click the house together and make sure the house parts don't separate during normal play
2) make sure your mobile device is connected to WiFi when using the app, we don't routinely keep WiFi on for the kids iPod and your ToyTalk password should be at least 8 characters.
3) do a factory hard reset, push the "talk button" (Barbie Head button) in and simultaneously use something small to press in the tiny reset hole, keep both pressed until it says something about being factory reset. Then connect the WiFi through the app, even if you have done this multiple times.
4) turn off the WiFi button if you want to still use the sounds/lights without the voice activation/WiFi mode.
Having so much fun!
Only 4 stars because troubleshooting didn't help us, there isn't much in the book for the problems we were having and we ended up having to call customer service twice.
Thankfully though, Santa is out of the hot seat and the girl who doesn't even like dolls is still playing with the dance party command.
PS. Your child can command it with a "thank you" and she answers back "my pleasure" or "you're so welcome"!

Finally Worked!

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. Very expensive, but her face when she saw it was priceless! Had trouble setting up WiFi like other reviewers said. After two days of trying to set up this thing it finally worked. I even enjoyed playing with it. It is a bit loud, but so much fun to play with.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Christmas mutilation

Want your 3 year old grand-daughter to wake up Christmas morning to a giant non working dollhouse? then order this toy!!!! Bought this from shoprite and a great discounted price in November and spent the rest of my season buying corvettes scooter and dolls to go with it. The whole theme of her christmas was centered around this overpriced piece of garbage! Dont waste your money on this!! !Cant do-over Christmas morning! Theres no making up on this one!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

wifi issues after downloading update

Setup house quickly, no issues until update is downloaded and then i get the red wifi light. Tried factory reset, and it goes through the same cycle. No other access points for over 1000ft. My daughter keeps asking if we can get the not broken dreamhouse.
for a $200+ product, you would expect that it works.

Disappointment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this dream house for my daughter she wanted this more than anything. AFTER SETTING the doll house up the wi fi would not connect and untill I read all of these horrible reviewed I assumed it was my internet service...assuming that mattel actually reads these comments please .... Can this be fixed with out returning the house... if half of these reviews have the same complaint why can't you guys address the concern this is a 300.00 doll house that DOES NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED!
