QUIET AS A MOUSE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had read the reviews and thought this would be a great product to buy. So far it has been excellent. It is super quiet which I love. It cleans the clothes really well and gets a lot of the water out on the spin cycle. It has a lot of different settings for the different types of clothes and bedding.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The washer was marketed to me as being made in the US. It's not. The quality of it is not what I expected for the price.

Bought it four years ago. Two years into use mysterious grease looking stains started to appear on clothes. Turns out the ball bearing were leaking oil. Also fixing this will involved replacing the whole drum. Two days ago the motor control board got burnt. To replace it will cost as much as the machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beware Dont buy if you have a crawl space...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this washer and the matching dryer in November of 2012.I experienced a kitchen fire and my laundry room was off from the kitchen so I had to replace my washer and dryer. I got the set at a great price and I am using it as stackables. I live in a house that has a crawl space and when the washer goes into the spin cycle my entire floor shakes. My kids have made it into a joke the "earthquake machine". I called customer service three times and every time they came out they said nothing is wrong with the machine. I am stuck with it now and I am not happy! This is a high power machine just make sure your floors can stand the vibration if you are not installing on a concrete floor. Sooooo not satisfied!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GE Tech forgot some feature

This washer is very quiet and very easy simple to use. But missing some important features options
Pro: Quiet, Vibrate low, easy to use,
con:
no "Rinse & Spin" feature where washer should have.
no "Extend mins" for wash
no "Reversible door"
no "Water level"
I would recommend this to a friend!
