Tub bearing failure

Whatever happen to quality and why would GE no longer supply bearings and seal ONLY.You have to buy complete rear tub assy. If the bearing goes out you are better off getting a new washer. This machine is built as throw away machine.

Some bolts rusted after only 4 years and damaged the tub. Now it leaks water every time it's used. The repair cost is more than the washer. For the price, I expected at least an average life span. It didn't even make it halfway.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Never buy a side load

Door locks and is unable to open a lot and I say this as someone who has owned this washer for 2 months.
