i LOVE THE PULL OUT BOTTOM FREEZER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I PURCHASED THIS IN APRIL. IT WAS DELIVERED ON APRIL 18. I STILL DON'T HAVE A WORKING ICE MAKER. THE ICE MAKER WAS NOT WITH IT EVEN THOUGH I PURCHASED ONE, AND 3 WEEKS LATER, AN ICE MAKER WAS BROUGHT TO MY HOME THAT DID NOT FIT. THE NEXT WEEK ANOTHER ONE WAS BROUGHT AND INSTALLED BUT IT LEAKS, SO NOW I STILL DO NOT HAVE AN ICE MAKER. TODAY IS MAY 20. I LOVE THE FRIDGE, BUT AN ICEMAKER IS AN IMPORTANT PART THAT IS NOT WORKING, THEREFORE I CANNOT GIVE IT HIGH MARKS.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Tapping noise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator to replace our 22 year old Kenmore refrigerator. It took a while getting used to it. Overall, we like it a lot except it makes a slight knocking noise for a short time while it's running.

It works, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator after our old one was beyond repair. It works it terms of keeping things cold but has one serious drawback. Once retrieved something from the refrigerator, once you close the door a vacuum is created so strong it is impossible to open immediately afterwards. You must wait 20 to 30 seconds to open it again. Not a problem if you make sure you get everything you need the first time or you know you need to wait for the pressure finally equalizes. Cause if you don’t, you will pull the door handle loose trying.
So although I’m happy the fridge seals well and keeps the food cold, I’m not that patient.

Nice Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The space we have for a fridge is limited unless we want to redo our cupboards, which we don't want to do. This fridge is the perfect size and I love it. I have never had a freezer on the bottom and it is one of the best features. There is plenty of room in the fridge and I am very happy with it.

I bought this through a local family-owned store after failing to find a model that was under 68" tall to fit in the space in my new condo. My previous bottom freezer fridge was an Amana and was still going strong after 16 years in the house I had just sold. I wish Amana had continued with a freezer model with a door that opens instead of a drawer but was delighted to find this model. It has enough space for me--I am retired, single but still enjoy cooking.
