Fails right after manufacturers warranty ends

I should have listened to the warnings. It did exactly what everyone said it would. Stopped cooking fridge and freezer right after warranty ended.

Refrigerator was great then two years into it, stopped making ice and several days later the refrigerator and freezer stopped cooling. Lost hundreds of dollars in food. Compressor bad and have been sitting without a refrigerator for a month. Apparently this is a well-known issue with LG refrigerators these days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought nearly 5 yrs. Ago. Just had the coolant not work. Service and oarts backed up but they were very helpful, professional, clean, and restored cooling within 2 hrs. Of their being at our home. (Nash + Jeff)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had the entire kitchen suite for 3 years. All 4 appliances, including this refrigerator had been serviced at least once. The fridge compressor and water inlet valve had to be replaced already.

last year the air condenser had to be replaced. It took over 2 weeks for a tech to repair. This is the second time this year the ice maker is not working, again we waited over 2 weeks for repair and now are waiting again over 2 weeks. Told, not an emergency just go buy some ice cube trays!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fridge has performed wonderfully since I bought it over 2 years ago. It looks great in my kitchen and the black stainless matches the rest of my appliances. If you have a larger family you found get something bigger. Mine is counter depth and is adequate for me and my 2 kids. Once you start storing multiple leftovers and pizza boxes that come with a busier family you will run out of space quickly! Wifi and app control are great features. Ice production is also great. The knock view window is cute but is really a novelty feature that I never use after the first month except to impress friends or something. The French door middle flap has a tendency to not engage in the Grove properly if the door gets misaligned. This will cause your fridge to overwork and thaw. The flaw here is that the open door alert does not sound so you won't know until it's too late. Just pay close attention to make sure the little flap engages properly when you close the(left) ice door
