Not quite there

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this last month and enjoy it but ... yup, the dreaded but....
It seems like the on door ice maker isn't designed correctly. We have a layer of ice that forms along the seam so we have to chip it off if we want to take out the storage tray.
Despite the size, it doesn't fit as much as our previous frig which was actually smaller sq footage-I expect we will learn to pack it better.
And finally, the doors are so deep that you need both fully open in order to access most items.

Stylist multi-feature refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my refrigerator in February 2017 and thus far my wife and I are quite pleased with the many features and style. The Instaview door-in-door is our favorite feature. We also love the modern style and great functionality of this appliance.
The only issue we have is that the black stainless steel paint/finish will easily crack and peel if you accidently hit it with a hard object. Just like a new car, I recommend that you provide a touch-up paint kit since the finish is very fragile.

Broke after 2 months!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 2 months it broke! I've been without a refrigerator for 3 weeks now! It's been a long stressful process of diagnosing, ordering parts, and reordering parts! After the technician left, it went out again! It started with the freezent leaking and Now it's supposedly the cooling motor fan! All the food spoiled and we've been having to eat out everyday and we can't even save any food. It's in the middle of summer and everything spoils so quickly it Doesn't even stay good til end of night. ALSO, the ice machine doesn't produce much ice we're constantly out and the inside right door of the fridge is always opening when I'm Digging in the fridge my elbow will hit it accidentally so I have to click it bsck close. DONT BUY!! WORST PURCHASE EVER! Causing me soooo much trouble now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice unit. One problem (solved in this review)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Enough folks have raved about this fridge that I don’t need to do that. Suffice to say I’m impressed.
There is one glaring problem: you cannot stand a tall bottle in it. For example, a magnum of champagne. This is an ‘upscale’ fridge, so it should be able to accommodate upscale things like tall bottles.
Actually, it can.
All you need do is either omit, or modify, the middle shelf/bin of the Instaview door. I chose to remove the shelf and insert a flat piece of ABS plastic across the supports. This creates a narrower middle shelf (advise taping shut the back door of the instaview to prevent things accidentally falling out), while allowing tall bottles to stand up on the low shelf of the instaview. Perfect for entertaining.

See attached image. I’m hoping LG makes an ‘aftermarket’ middle shelf that will accomplish this same thing. Anyway, this easy modification makes a great fridge even better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just bought the entire suite of LG Studio! So gorgeous! The black stainless finish is stunning! The slide range fit perfectly replacing our old range with no counter top at the back. So perfect! The microwave/convection oven is amazing and the food cooks perfectly. Dishwasher is great! Can't even tell it's running but it is and the dishes come out beautifully! Couldn't be happier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 2 weeks ago because I wanted to replace my current frig with a counter depth. It obviously doesn't hold as much because it is not as deep as a regular depth frig. At first I thought this would be a problem because of more frequent trips to the grocery store, but it was actually a blessing. Because of the shallower depth things don't get lost in the back nether regions of the frig and spoil until you find them during a monthly clean of the frig. The vegetable/fruit drawers are not wide enough, instead of 3 they should have made just 2 drawers. Everything else on the unit is great and would buy it again.
