This refrigerator’s refrigerant is faulty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator in March of 2018. Right now it is entirely inoperable because the refrigerant (R134a)should not have been used. The compressor died and must be replaced. My refrigerator hasn’t worked for a month while I await a replacement compressor.

Great fridge when it works

WiFi connection nice but not many functions. Window door is great and freezer is huge and easy to find things. Ice service works very well.

Great looks and features, poor quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought all new LG appliances in June of 2019, We thought that buying the LG Studio series would hopefully give us quality appliances we wouldn't have to worry about for several years. Our refrigerator has stopped cooling after less than 2 years...the repair guy came out yesterday and said it was the compressor. He said that he has seen a lot of these LG early compressor and evaporator failures. Thankfully this was still covered under the factory 2 year warranty but we have been without the use of this for 2 weeks and it will be another week or so before we get the part and have it working again. Because of this experience I will not buy any LG product in the future nor would I recommend them to anyone else.

Bought this refrigerator and matching appliances 3 1/2 years ago and realized the information panels are not lighted making them very hard to see. Now, the compressor failed and I was without a fridge for over 3 weeks. Repair response was very slow.
