We really like this refrigerator a lot better than our old side by side. The black stainless melds well with our other stainless appliances. Love the counter depth. It looks so much better because it doesn't stick out into the kitchen. There are only 2 of us and there is no shortage of room. The 3 sections of freezer also provide plenty of room. Great so far!

Scratches on stainless steel by ice dispenser

I bought my refrigerator on 05/02/20. While I love the look and counter depth of this refrigerator, I do not like how easily I get scratches around the water/ice dispenser. I am using the softest cloths to wipe up drips. Please tell me what I can use to stop this! I paid too much money for this thing to scratch so easily.

We actually purchased about 2 years ago, but just received this survey. I assume it's because it was just repaired under warranty. The compressor and condenser stopped working. It took over 30 days to get parts and repair. LG did pay for food spoilage and a mini-fridge while waiting.
The french doors have never lined up. They are out of alignment a very noticeable amount and makes the unit seem to be out of balance when closing the doors. The tool provided to fix this and instructions do not work. The nut is on so tight and the tool won't budge it.
Water has always leaked from the water dispenser for a brief moment after use.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love This Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this refrigerator for about six months and love it so much. Everything works perfectly. The functions on the display panel above the water and ice dispenser are easy to understand, and the compartment with the clear door for frequently used items is actually useful. One thing to keep in mind is that this is a counter-depth model so it has less space than a full-size model and can require some adaptations for very large items. But it's manageable and it forces you to keep things neat and organized, which is good.
