Our fridge died and after an attempt or two to revive, we had to give up and buy new, so we upgraded to ice/water thru the door - what a nice thing to have. The freezer closes tight and we no longer have issue of ice at the bottom of the freezer, which we could never figure out how to prevent with our previous fridge.

Then came with rust spots in stainless steel doors 4 months later got that taken care of. I think not sure. Been awaiting for new seals for freezer doors bad, going on 4 weeks.

We bought this refrigerator in December and like the bigger freezer section with the pull out basket and more room than our side by side fridge/freezer had. The only thing we don't like is the ice dispenser. It doesn't go into your glass or cup easily...it shoots out and gets in the tray and hits the floor as it fills your glass. Messy...every single time! (doesn't matter if it is crushed or cubed as it does it both ways)

We're accustomed to using alot of ice and water from the fridge, went thru 3 ice makers on previous fridge, and I've read reviews that say the ice making and dispensing is too noisy. Yes, the ice dispensing makes noise, just as much as my previous one, no more and no less. Frozen h2o makes noise no matter how you slice it.
This fridge is huge compared to our old side by side and very user friendly too. I'm a rather picky person and have not yet found a thing with it that I don't care for.
Hoping this one makes it to almost 30 years too!
