Door Ajar Alarm sounding

I inherited this fridge when I brought my house however, the fridge is nice and good space. But the door ajar light won't cut off when the doors are closed neither does it dispense water or ice. I am dispointed in the lack of knowledge about this issue. Why not just make the fridge without that function?!?

Have had mine for 2 years and The door ajar alarm has started going off when the door is secure ,does it after every door opening we have to work with it to get it to stop
