I was able to sort out the shelves, etc by myself. The water/ice maker function works great and it I DO use it, where I really doubted I would. Overall I love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the Amana 36 wide French Door bottom Freezer-refrigerator and we're very happy with it. Things are within convenient reach in both areas of freezer and fridge. We love having the ice and water in the door and a bright interior for storing our food. The only issue we find is that the ice doesn't shut off as soon as the glass is removed so a few cubes drop elsewhere.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Happy with the overall function of the fridge. What I am not happy with is the damaged items that came with it. The top of the fridge was damaged, most likely done by the company we bought it from, so that you can't help. But after unwrapping it, we discovered more damage to the grate that houses the fan in the back. This could not have been done by the company. It was under undamaged wrap. Also, as we were carefully unwrapping the shelves, we realized that one of them was bent, so it won't sit in the rails correctly. This is definitely a manufacturing defect.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this along with the stove and dishwasher, which I am also very happy with. We like the bottom freezer and the storage is incredible. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the doors close automatically and you cannot set it to not close automatically, slower but the doors do close on you which I find annoying

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the french doors, deli drawer and in the door dispensers. Keeps food the right temp and the ice maker actuall keeps up with my family's use. My only complaint it that the sealer strip sometimes catches the opposite door with a thunk.
