Seamless replacement

Had trepidation to replace the short-lived DVR that came with an expensive professionally-installed system. Customer service reassured me that I could send back if it didn't work with the non-Defender products. Connecting it to the system COULD NOT have been EASIER! Worked beautifully immediately.

Works as intended, easy to setup

I bought this to replace an my old unit and it was so easy to setup. The app works great. I am however having issues viewing it on my desktop computer (but that's a separate issue) The menu is easy to read. The mouse makes the navigation easier to move through.

One day install and setup

Everything was intuitive.
I plugged in everything, ran the auto setup wizard, updated time zone, selected auto DST, formatted the HDD as suggested, enabled UPNP, looked up the System Info for connection parameters and wrote them down. installed the Defender HD app on my phone and used the previous parameters to set Media Port.
Yes, I got my cameras over the internet.

Wonderful Product

installation was easy and uncomplicated, easy hook ups and wiring diagram was very clear. I had an issue with hooking up my I-phone to the system but with the help of Darrielle (who helped me) I was hooked up in minutes
