Mic Adapter

Works well but with no instructions I had to reply on You Tube. Seems large considering Go Pro is a small camera. Disappointed I had to purchase this adapter to make the external mic work. And is a high cost.

Will not charge HERO 10

The whole point of this adapter is to supply an external audio mic input along with power to a Gopro camera. The USB -C plug next to the 3.5mm audio plug seems a dead give away that this is the intended purpose. This mic adapter will not charge a HERO 10. I was told this by Gopro support after my purchase. It would save everyone some time and trouble if they would spell this out in sales and information on this product.

USB-C power and data extension with 90° connector
Connects a wide range of external 3.5mm mics
Enables stereo mic and line input for external audio sources like an audio recorder or mixer
106dB stereo analog-to-digital converter
There is no reference about the Mic Adapter being used as a power source.

Works great for aviation!

Very crisp audio, works very well. No issues so far. I fly a Cessna 152 and use the Bose A20 + Bluetooth headset and mount it on the "Spider Swivel GoPro Mount."

When you are trying to find and buy the lightest possible helmet for a motorcycle and you want to use your gopro hero 7 black, which is not a prehistoric piece of equipment, it turns out that you need to add a device that is 1/2 or less 1/3 of the pro ... connect the microphone.
Plus, a special holder is required to connect it all and what you do not have in your offer. I am still for it to prepare a suitable adapter the size of a cable, not a matchbox. And the price, so that it would not be some fancy way of earning money again.
