Very Disappointed

I use a helmet top camera so was very disappointed with the unflexible nature of the mike. I am now trying to source a C2-C2 extension in the hope I can get the mike to work. If this fails will probably send it back.

Love it to bits except no mic levels

I actually got the media mod first, and had instant buyer remorse once I realised I couldn't get access to the battery and memory card easily. Once I switched to this mic adapter.. it just worked. One thing that GoPro could improve on this adapter is the support for displaying mic levels on the screen!

Fantastic bit of kit

Works perfectly to capture cockpit audio, which is what I mainly want it for. Then I just though, why not try it on your piano, and hey presto… works perfectly to capture my piano audio.

Died After Two Years

It worked fine for a while with a lav microphone, but failed after approximately two years. It no longer showed up as a media-mod when plugged in, nor did it route audio to my GoPro Hero 9 Black anymore. I purchased a new one and the replacement is currently working properly.

Cumbersome

This obviously works but the design is incredibly poor. GoPro’s are action cameras so why make something which when the environment gives of vibrations or high winds (motorbike helmet), the cable comes loose and you only get half your audio. Be prepared to use copious amounts of duck tape.
