Dee Jay Eye Does not require a proprietary adapter!

You can use an inexpensive usb-c to 3.5mm adapter to their Action cam, and this greedy company REQUIRES their proprietary overpriced device that outs so much stress on the port that it damaged mine!
I switched brands purely for this reason and I have not been happier.!

Its a very good mic adapter, however its definitely a bit too pricy, also if you wish to use any TRRS microphone for it you will need a TRS adaptor which really annoyed me when I found out I needed that, but overall good but the little extras about it can be kind of annoying such as adaptors and price.

Je viens de recevoir l'accessoire 3.5 MM MIC ADAPTER et impossible de le faire reconnaitre le récepteur de mon micro cravate Boya. Le micro fonctionne très bien quand je branche le récepteur sur mon ordinateur, donc c'est bien l'adaptateur qui ne reconnait pas le récepteur branché en USB C.
J'ai cherché à contacter le service client et ça me dit de ré essayer plus tard depuis des heures... Au prix de l'accessoire, pour un abonné... Je suis très déçu !

Why? Do I need an adapter?

Why can't I just plug in my USB c lavallier Mikro from Røde? The only reason I can see is to make some extra money. On my Smartphone I just can plug the USB C mic in, automatically detected, works. I would have expected this from a go pro device as well.

Tried to use with my hero 5 black and hero 8 and it doesnt work with either. Asked for a refund, sadly missed 2 calls and now i cant yet ahold of them for the refund.

Just no sound

Too expensive, too big, too heavy, cable too long.
in short, nothing good and on top of that I have no sound on my GoPro Hero 5 Black it just doesn't work. (I have a RODE Videomicro 2)
