Expensive!!!

This is my second attempt at posting a review. If your filtering team don't allow this post, AGAIN, not to worry there are many more avenues I can take to get my opinion known. This product is WAY over priced. Wake up gopro and listen you your customers!

A Step Back

It's heavier, bulkier and more expensive than the adapters for the older GoPros. Also it won't work with some of the mic adapters I use with my other GoPros and cameras. I've been very disappointed with my GoPro experiences recently.

I use my 3.5mm GoPro mic adapter for moto vologging and It sounds great but it's just big and in the way when trying to use it

Comon GoPro sort it out - do you really expect helmet wearers to have this just dangling around or taped to the side of a helmet? - nothing says "ruin the look of your Shoei helmet" like this ugly ass thing stuck to it.. When you get it right i will buy one..

GOPRO what are you thinking? Why on earth has this thing to be so BIG? I need an external microphone because the sound is like crap when the hero 5 black is in the frame or in a gimbal (you can hear motor noise or me holding a tripod when i move my hand). I am a first time gopro user with the hero 5 black and love it for the most part (when I don't need the audio) but seriously disappointed by this.

Why did you not keep it simple as it was? Just a little cheap cable that solve our problems. Why didn't you lunch a USB-C Mic instead this brick?
