Afterthought that's difficult to rig

It's an overprice, bulky, inconvenient afterthought that is impossible to rig in most positions. A terrible piece of design. I wonder how they intend for it to be secured/rigged? Is it just supposed to dangle there from the USB-C socket... on an action cam? Ridiculous.

Pro 3.5mm Mic Adapter

I have made attempts to record video and audio with my new Rode Videomic Go using my new GoPro5 and the adapter. I keep getting clicking noises repeated through my audio. I have tried the suggested troubleshoots and have asked others in GoPro & blogging/vlogging chat groups. Suggestions were to update the software for camera and turn off wifi/Bluetooth connections with phone & camera. Haven't used new equipment since my purchase in December. Super frustrated!

I'm using GoPro 5 with karma grip

I love the karma grip. I'm always using the GoPro with the karma grip.
Unfortunately the sound is garbage. Beside the wind noise the gimbal is also making disturbing sounds.
Solution: NONE!
This adapter can not be used when the camera is in the gimbal.
So beside the fact that the adaptor is horrifying huge, is unusable.
GoPro, please release a bluetooth microphone.

Too bulky

I use it on my hero 5 black(which is on my motorcycle helmet) only because I need to, to run an external mic...if there was an option, even more expensive or made by another company, that was significantly smalller...I would buy that instead and trash this....

I use the microphone adapter with the hero 5 often with the Rode Microphone to make videos. This product is great asset to my videography pursuits.
