Does what it's supposed to. But the size is ridiculous, I wonder with all the great engineer that work at GoPro why the design of that adapter is so wrong...

Massive adapter

GoPro really screwed this one up. Not only did they force other USB-C / 3.5mm connectors to not work, they completely forgot about users with helmets that cant afford a connector 1/3 the size of the camera. What were you guys thinking???

The adapter works well, and it is nice to have the option of charging while using a mic. It would be awesome if there was a smaller mic only adapter without the USB port available too.

Extension Cold Needed!!!

You guys really need to provide at least a 3.3 foot extension cord for this that's compatible. Most of the USB-C extension cords don't work with this microphone adapter. Not everybody wants to mount their microphone adapter right at the camera. It'd be nice to be able to mount it in a different location.
