Another person who's Hero Session 5 never records audio

This bulky, and ridiculously expensive, device now doesn't even work. No matter which external mic I use. I am going back to my Hero 3, at least it had a cheap mic adaptor.

just looking at the reviews for this product. Why are goPro still asleep... Wake the f up GoPro, smell the coffee, fans are about to jump ship. Sony is opening the door for your customers , sorry ex customers.... Shocking price for a crappy product....

Mic Adapter Audio Recordings

Used along with Hero 5 Session camera and a setup to record Aircraft Audio from the onboadr radios. No good at all. The camera runs very hot after a while, the audio is not recorded and for some reason suppress the Audio Receiver to the extend that the ATC in not readable. It might be a faulty adapter as there was no problem with the ACFT audio system before. Then, all of a sudden, in one test flight the video playback is as fast as like in Fast Forward with no audio at all. Why is this GoPro Dear?

Too big too expensive

Come on GoPro love all your kit and some of it is slightly overpriced but the quality is there..... This however you are blatantly abusing your position of power. Not good! It's too big especially when trying to mount to a helmet. Had one it broke and now I'm in two minds wether to buy a replacement or switch out to a new action cam

Mic adapter

So poor, plug into Goopro and audio picks up the connection noise. Wires to mic again noise gets picked up. Over all such rubbish most stupid way of having to connect an external mic. Had mine a week before the connector broke off, lucky it didn’t mess the connection into the GoPro . Still as waste of money , specially with the poor sound on the GoPro 6 .

Très mauvais accessoire !!

Cet accessoire est trop gros, ne comporte pas de moyen de fixation qui lui est propre.
La connexion sur la Gopro n’est pas parfaite et la prise bouge avec les vibrations ce qui engendre des coupures de son !
Impossible de filmer correctement !
De plus le prix de cet accessoire est bien trop élevé ...
De ce fait je revends ma Hero5 après avoir eu une Hero3 et une Hero4 et passe chez la concurrence....
