Sounds bad!

Since installing on my motorcycle helmet, had really bad cracking and popping when riding at anything over 20 mph. I have googled it and I gather I am not alone with this issue. I have tried all the suggested 'fixes', none have worked. Not a particularly happy bunny.

Pro 3.5mm Mic Adapter

If you have the Media Mod then there's no need for a Mic Adapter to use External Mic. External Mic can be Plugged into the Media Mod as there is Slot available in the Media Mod to connect the external mic and it works perfectly alright.

The external mic adaptor is poor quality, it's an awful system, i've had two and after a short while they have both failed. Gopro demonstrate they just want punters £££ instead of addressing the external mic problem

Noise in recording using this adapter

I bought the adapter to record cockpit voice through this adapter and the voice of airplane occupants has a lot of static kind of noise. It appears the sound decibel is too high from cockpit but it is fine for ATC voice. I was hoping the adapter adjust manage the sound quality.

Does the job

Despite having the media of case, I needed this to use goooro 8 black in a different case designed for vlogging that has a T ring adapter to allow attachment if the GoPro to an autocue setup. Works well and fits snug. Only criticism is the stiffness of the cable. I think after related uses this will eventually snap. Could do with either being a little more flexible or just slightly longer to it’s not under such tension.
