Absolute garbage.

Running this on the Hero 7. All settings are correct and using the compatible Rode Videomicro (works on my DSLR) with correct cables. This adapter was defective out of the box. I’ve shot 20+ videos trying all possible setting combinations and still not a single one with audio. This company is going downhill fast.

How could a company’s latest camera be in the stock but mic adapter which can be used with their latest 3 cameras cannot be found anywhere in the world for months!!! RIDICULOUS!!! If I knew that I would buy the dji osmo action, instead of hero 7...

Waited for more than 5-6 months and about 2-3 days ago, I checked website and this adapter was available and I purchased immediately. Arrived in 2 business days. So happy that I will be able use microphone in my gopro for my vacation. Haven't tested yet though..

I've waited months for one to come in stock, and my go pro is useless without it. Will not restock anywhere, and there are no alternatives that I know of.

Works perfectly, just as I thought it would. Audio quality is so much better. Great detail compared to but in mics. Using it for moto-vlogging
