I have tested it today. Itworks, however its almost size of the camera itself, needs a special placement, the price is horrendous for such a simple device.

It works fine, but the cables is very stiff and go pro makes you to buy it in order to have some decent external microphone.

this thing is half the size of the camera. the cable is not very flexible and it is clunky. make the adapter smaller or build the a mic adapter into the camera.

A mandatory scam

It is super big, almost a 40% of the camera size, the cable is super wide and too long, this may be the most stupid accessory ever and also overpriced. Why if the camera has bluetooth you can’t connect a bluetooth mic? why not a normal 3.5 to USB-C adapter? why is this the only option? this is a total scam that you discover after buying the camera.
I didn’t know this when I bought the GoPro but this is the last GoPro camera that I buy, they lost a customer and I guess that many others.

Perfect for audio!

Works like a charm!
You must know how to use it though! For the audio to work, you need to turn on the goPro first, then record. Sometimes, if you just hit record without first powering it on, that recording or footage wont include the audio. There is where people are getting tripped up on whether or not it "Works".
It does work, but you have to use it properly.
