Disappointed!!!

Bought this unit and within 2 days it started to malfunction. Fan is weak, so is the remote. For the price expected more, like maybe working at all. Was told by a rep that the room has to be 65 degrees already in order for it to work correctly and not shut off because it starts overheating when you turn it on to heat. So basically I need another source of heat to make it work. It never states any of this information on the box or instructions and manual. Do not recommend!!!!

Not heating it enough

This heater is inefficient. We have been using this for a drafty old SF apartment and it doesn’t kick the temperature above 61 unless other heaters are used. Save your money.

It doesn't heat

I bought this to help my bedrtoom heat and it just doesn't work. It is a 10 x 10 room and basically little change in temp after working all night. It doesn't feel like it is blowing enough and barely getting hot. Very disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] During the first chilly nights of the season, I opted to try out this electric heater rather than firing up the pellet stove. It is very stable, no concerns about it falling over if the dogs happen to bump it. So quiet that I didn't think it could have been throwing any heat, but within 15 minutes to a half hour, the room was comfortable, no drafty blasts of hot air, just nice and toasty. Its settings are easily to adjust and view, both from the top and front of the unit.
Pros: Compact, Durable, Quiet, Stable Base

Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Vorndo metal heater to try out and review. It was very easy to get out of the box and setup. There isn't many buttons, which makes it very easy to use. It gives off a lot of heat without making the actual heater hot. I think my favorite part of the Vorndo metal heater is that it comes with a remote!! No more climbing out of bead or off he couch to change the setting or to turn it on/off. Over all an amazing product!

The quietest heater I have ever had.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the past week that I have had this unit, it has proven to be one of the quietest I have ever had. Granted it says it will heat a room (800+sq) it does not do that very well. It works great for something along the lines of 300sqft. Overall, I would buy another one for my bedroom.
Pros: Adjustable, Compact, Lightweight, Quiet, Stable Base
Cons: Can not use with GFI outlet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living in New York means that you deal with winter for 90% of the year. At least it feels like that. We held out as long as possible before we turned the heat on. Prior to turning it on, though, we were going in our office/computer room, hanging out, and using the Vornado VMH500 Metal Heater. We have been going in there to hang out, clean up the room and to play games on the computers back there. Even if we had our actual heat on, it would not get back there - as we close the room off. Having the Vornado VMH500 Metal Heater has been wonderful. Though this heater is small, it packs a punch and pushes a lot of heat out. There are three settings for "heat" - high, low, and just fan. We alternate between high and low and it works wonderfully, and all the settings are very quiet. The room heats up very quickly and consistently stays warm. It is not like one of those heaters where it warms up your room and then shuts off and it gets cold again. It is quite simple to use the Vornado VMH500 Metal Heater - the buttons are rather self-explainable. The handle and integrated cord storage are convenient. This heater is small, so it does not take up a lot of room, but it is nice that you can easily shove the cord in the back of the heater and carry the heater wherever you want to. It does have a tip over protection feature; however, I did not try it out, so I do not know how it works. However, it is nice to have in case one of my pets tip it over on accident. The Vornado VMH500 Metal Heater has a nice look to it - it is simple and has a stylish look. The heater having a 5-year warranty is awesome. I do not foresee anything going wrong with this heater, but it is nice to know that there is a nice, long warranty. Overall, this is an impressive heater and I would highly recommend it. If you need to heat a small room, then the Vornado VMH500 Metal Heater is a must-have! I did receive the Vornado VMH500 Metal Heater in exchange for honest opinion.
