I had to replace old blended. What I liked about blender came with food processor for small quick slicing and shredding. Very powerful, easy clean up. Good value. Highly recommend

It broke in a couple of months. I love cuisinart products. But my experience with this particular product is unpleasant. If i tell anyone it's not working, they wouldn't believe. The product looks new, barely used and yet, a total waste. I must get a refund or replacement.

I like the fact that the blender is glass, i can use it for a variety of foods and not worry about it absorbing flavors. The crushed ice feature is GREAT for margaritas. The food processor is simple to switch out and easy to use.

The duet blender/food processor that I just bought works great and loving it. I mainly use the blender to make veggies smoothie daily and the food processor to make peanut butter/almond butter/multi-nuts butter. 2 thumbs up! It is worth every $$

Base/Motor stopped working properly after a couple months and very minimal use. Model seems to have issue with a “thermal fuse” according to similar issue complaints on internet.
Warranty repair/replacement procedure has been a lengthy drawn out process.

Excellent blender, however we have sometimes overloaded the motor triggering its safety and had to wait 5 min or so for it to reset. Prefer that behavor to burning out the motor. If we initially use pluse for those heavy smoothies unit is fine. Have not tried the processor, however its construction looks to be good.

I love my new Cuisinart for several reasons, but most of all because it is two of my favorite appliances rolled into one. I use my blender for shakes quite often but I also use the food processor with some frequency. These fit on my counter easily and are readily accessible. What more could I want?
