Worst hood fan do not buy.
The fan is so far out of balance you can not run it on anything other then low

Bought 1.5 years ago and out of wty. The motor started making noises, getting louder and sounded like my other fan that lasted 16 yrs when it failed. Checked the fan motor, is clean. Both filter screens are clean and cleaned often. This fan has always been very noisy. Now not sure if it was defective when installed or ?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ok but with limitations.

This is my third unit. The first two arrived damaged. Although this one is fine, I had to wait several weeks to get it. Likes: looks good and easy to install. Dislikes: Noisy, with venting to outside, it only pulls from one side so not that efficient and filter gets dirty quickly.

Works great for about a year

Works great for about a year. Then touch button board dies. I've had mine break twice. Outside warranty and it costs half the cost of a new unit to replace just the button board. Looking for an alternative that matches my other GE Profile products. Very frustrating.

The bell looks nice but since I used it the first week I haven't turned it on anymore because it makes a very loud noise as if it were shaking.

Very loud and chef connect doesnt work

I purchased this hood a few weeks ago since I was renovating my kitchen together with the GE café electric cooktop. I got the chef connect option just to be able to connect it to my cooktop but after installation, I noticed the chef connect does not pair with my cooktop, and it is extremely noisy, it just looks decent and the LED lighting is good but the sound in shift connect which doesn’t work is extremely upsetting and disappointing

The chef connect feature allows you to synchronize the range with the hood's vent fan and light. To connect the vent hood and range please follow the steps listed at the article link attached below:
