It's a head banger

Function is great, but my husband has smacked his head on the corner too many times already. maybe rounded corners would have been better? It just sticks out so far from the cabinets he hasn't gotten used to it enough yet. I don't remember our last one having quite as far out from the wall profile.

This replaced a 30 year old original hood...we’ve bought GE Profile over the past 20 years and the quality is still there...

This hood is perfect with the GE Profile Gas Cooktop and offers great style, exhaust path and features. LED lights and one touch screen are great features.

Powerful exhaust, but lighting could be better.

The exhaust on this over-the-range hood is quite powerful on the HI setting, and extremely quiet on the LO. The digital keypad is a nice feature but it takes a bit of getting used to the slight delay (about 1.5 seconds) for the setting to change. One disappointment is the LED lighting. Two pucks at either end of the front of the hood concentrate the work light at either end and front of the cooktop surface, leaving the middle and back of the cooktop barely lit - not something I expected from a high-end fairly expensive product.

I am very impressed with this hood vent. The fan is very quiet on low and not to loud on the high levels. The lights are also very bright, best I have ever had.

Love it but could use new features

The hood works great when turned on but it needs either an auto on or make it a smart hood with an app for more features.
Would love the auto on feature to come on once it senses temperatures rise or sme kind of steam sensor.
