Too noisy and it clicks and rattles on high

I bought this in March, installed by contractor in April. It was loud then, but even worse now. I will have the contractor come to see if there is anything he can do, but it sounds defective to me. I imagine we will have to return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

great range hood

The fan speeds are quiet and I love the LED lighting. However...the LED lights only illuminate the front burners of my cooktop leaving the back burners semi-dark. My previous GE rangehood with Halogen lights illuminated my enter cooktop. I was disappointed my new rangehood does not have a nightlight setting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After installing the hood it makes a lot of noise when turned on. The internal fan cage and housing are plastic and seem to hit every fan rotation making a terrible noise
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this almost 2 months ago, FANTASTIC compared to what we had previously, which was range hood that came with house. Quieter, powerful! Love, love the lighting that is with the system
