Great investment

I use it daily as a microwave to quickly re-heat or defrost foods and I also use the oven on a weekly basis as a second oven. It heats up really fast and cooks evenly. It wasn't cheap but for my new kitchen, it's the perfect luxury addition. Now I have a microwave and oven in one which saves space. And it looks great too!

Still Learning, But....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first experience with a dual-function microwave, but so far, I'm loving it!!! It's beautiful and functional! The controls are extremely easy to use, the interior is spacious enough to hold most any need and the food is evenly cooked! I purchased this product for a kitchen remodel which required a 24" product--options were limited. I chose this product based upon the Bosch reputation, dual-function and aesthetics! I am extremely happy with my choice!!!

This unit is a lemon

Just search the internet for this product and you will see how many complaints there are. Bosch should be ashamed of themselves for not standing behind their brand and acknowledging that this unit has serious manufacturing defects. If you look at the price of this unit it is over $1500. Bosch will happily diagnose the issue for you but then refuse to do anything if you are out of warranty, the Megatron sparks, then if you replace the megatron other faulty parts are realized and the unit is done for. Spent over $500 to try and repair and utterly disappointed that Bosch continues to sell this oven to unsuspecting buyers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bosch 500 Series

When we remodeled it never occurred to us to put in a doulbe oven. After all there was only the two of us. How much baking/cooking would we do? Mistake. After many years we decided to discard the steam oven we rarely used and replace it with a Speed Oven. We have had our BOSCH unit for several years and I love it. It provides another oven with a width that allows casserole dishes and baking pans. She has been well worth the money spent. Not to mention that the unit is an asthestic fit with our other appliance. Now, I would like to replace my Decor wall oven with a Bosch unit. Let me get back to that adventure.

Unit failed after only 4 years
