Bosch 500

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our 2 nd Bosch 500 . We purchased one with our first renovation at our Lake house . That was 8 years ago and it has been super reliable. When we did are new renovation on our primary home kitchen we did not hesitate to purchase again . We love it easy to use . Convention oven is a big favorite feature. A great product .

Unit Died After 4 Years of Use

Adding my comment to hopefully drag down the rating for this product. Bosch should be ashamed to be continuing to sell a product that's so expensive that has a known flaw and cheap parts that will break over time. AVOID.

Poor Engineering

I have owned this speed oven for 6 years and spent thousands having it repaired. The fuses attached to the side of the door are constantly breaking, we don't open door with microwave running. This is a common problem and after having a repair done, I've become so adept at replacing these fuses I simply do it myself now with spares always on hand. The handle of the door has come off, I replaced once only to have that last less than 1 year. It squeaks, whines, etc. Bosch knows these are issues but appears haven't made any effort to redesign. This is horrible purchase but for the money am trying to get a few more years out of it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
