I love the racks how they split in the oven to the warmer in the bottom drawer. Outstanding style and design.

Cleaning oven is not easy

I've have been using my Whirlpool range for 6 months now. I have had no problem with the cooktop and the oven temperature is accurate, unlike my previous stove. But cleaning the oven is a big pain. The Aqualift cleaning system is a joke. If I wanted to get down on my hands and knees and stick my head in the oven to clean it, I would not have bought a self-cleaning oven. I followed the directions to the letter, but was unable to scape the spills off the floor of the oven or the inside of the oven door after the alloted 40 min had passed. I will trying running the cycle again and again, like a previously reviewer, but this certainly is not energy efficient.

Enjoying my new range

I have really enjoyed using my new range. I like that it has so many nice features. I've used several of them but not all yet. I love that this has the convection option and the warming drawer. I wish it had a cooler look to it, more similar to some of my other Whirlpool Gold appliances that I purchased around 4 years ago, but it's still very nice.

Excellent Quality & Performance

This range was bought at the fall of 2014 and since then has been a great performer. First, the stove top is not too recessed, the clearance between the burner and the stove top grill is about 1 inch which is excellent for cooking efficiency. All other brands have a clearance greater than 1 inch because of the amount the burners are recessed which makes you use more gas than needed. On our Whirlpool WFG720H0AS, we barely ever use the high setting for cooking (aside from boiling).Second reason was the oven heat venting duct. The previous brand we had dumped a considerable amount of heat out of the vent located under the electric panel. This posed an issue in the summer as the A/C could not keep the house cool due to the amount of heat loss, no joke! We had to use floor fans to vent cool air from the rooms to cool the house down during a dinner party. The house temperature increased by 10 deg F and the A/C struggled to keep the house cool (not the A/C's fault). This happened for any sort of oven use (pizza, casserole, etc). The Whirlpool's heat venting is significantly less than the previous brand. It was the main reason why we chose to stay with this brand & model.Third reason was the stove top grill. Unlike other models, this range's grill goes from the left edge all the way to the right edge of the stove top entirely with no gaps. EXCELLENT for any size pots and never have to worry about lifting large vessels up to slide them to another burner.Other little reasons why we like this range: a) Very cool that Whirlpool included the griddle with this purchase. b) energy saving feature is nice, de-clutters the amount of lights/LED clocks in the kitchen coming from appliances. c) oven capacity and alternate oven racks were included, another cool feature.Cons to this range: 1) You cannot select the convection fan on/off in the middle of the oven cooking cycle. It has to either be used oven with convect or oven without from the start. To go from convect to non-convect you have to cancel/stop and start a new cooking cycle.2) 1 month after owning this oven, the stainless steel trim around the lower part of the oven door where it says "Whirlpool" separated from the glass. Thus, it looks as if the trim is bowed outwards. Can't notice it from far, but when cooking directly at the range you can see a big gap. Not good such that food particles get stuck in between.

I love this stove and oven -- it is so easy to use and cooks so evenly. It is super easy to clean too. The griddle is perfect for pancakes or quesadillas too!
