Oven stopped working

We have had this oven for about a year and a half. The oven repeatedly stop heating in the middle of a baking cycle. The display will say the correct temperature but the items just won't cook. I now have to keep a thermometer in the oven to make sure its actually heating the way it should. The convection cycle is horrible. It takes food twice as long to cook. The aqua lift feature does nothing. You still have to use an oven cleaner and scrub. I will not be buying a whirlpool range ever again, thats for sure.

Terrible to clean

This is the first new stove I've ever owned, I've cooked for over 40 years on vintage stoves, by choice. This is the worst appliance to clean. I knew the grates were heavy and would need removed to clean it. The grates are so rough, they shred the dish cloth and towel. It leaves particles of cloth on the grate. Anything that drips onto the stove top cooks on and is difficult to get it off. The first use, oil got splattered onto the center burner covers and they are left with permanent oil stains. After less than one week of use, the stove looks used. The "storage" drawer is cheaply made and comes off the tracks. My previous stove still looked brand new but could no longer get parts. Too bad they don't make them like that anymore.

I have been using the range for 2 months and I love it. The preheating & rapid preheat settings are great along with the option of the Convect. In the past I would usually burn the bread and for the past 2 months no burnt bread...

This oven has not worked properly since I got it. When he repairman came to the house he told there there are know issues with this model. During baking the heating element will not keep the temperature however the display will still read the the temperature you set. So you dinner that is supposed to cook at 350 will go as low at 175 and you dont know it unless you check on it frequently. I have to shut the oven off and on again to find out what the real temperature is.. DONT buy this model..

I purchased this range in June of 2013 for my home that was under construction and due to be completed in September of that year. Unfortunately my house was not completed until much later and I did not move in till January of 2014. So stove was 6 monthes old before it was used the 1st time. When the oven had been used for about 6 monthes it started shutting itself off. The panel would show the temperature as what it was set at so I had no idea until I went to remove my cold uncooked food. This happened periodically until March of 2015 when the electronic control board went out completely. I had it replaced the following month and thought it was an isolated incident until this week when it has started shutting itself off again. For the price of the service call and the part I could have purchased a new stove that would still be functioning correctly.

A Competent Range

This came as part of new construction. It's fine. Pros: decent burners with good output, oven works, well..like an oven. Cons: given the width, using the fifth burner means you can't use the others. The cook top grates are surprisingly rough, making them difficult to clean. They tear up sponges - a brush is the only thing that cleans without leaving debris behind. And, for a stainless steel appliance, using black metal for the cooktop was a really cheap move. Black is impossible to keep clean, no matter how fanatical one is. Stainless would have been a much smarter move. I would not buy for that reason alone, will likely swap this unit out.

Burning off the new wasn't pleasant. Two large cooking grates on top are heavy making cleaning a chore, 3 would be better. Stove drawer could use better guides. Oval center burner would be better for grill accessory. Switch from electric to gas was a great decision. Glass in door, oven light with switch, large oven space, stove top cooking times, broiler, all an A+.Still out is baking and cleaning oven ease. Will add an interior thermometer to check actual temp to stove display. Had it a month and loving it.

Love, the five burners, griddle and gas oven.Very pleased with my purchase. Only improvement I would suggest is the black top is hard to keep clean and shiny.
