Love my new double oven!

I waited 4 years in my new home for a double oven, and it was worth it! I got it right before Thanksgiving and my dinner turned out amazing! I didn't have to juggle my dishes around to get everything cooked on time. The light is bright and it made my kitchen look brand new! The only peeve I have is the timer, it only beeps once and if you miss it, you miss it, it doesn't remind you repeatedly. I can't wait for the holiday cookies!

Great oven

I have had this oven for two weeks, my apple tree was loaded and I have been making apple pies, cakes and cookies non stop. It bakes evenly, is roomy and temperature is accurate .

In general I love the double ovens. I enjoy the convection feature but am still learning how to use the convection bake and roast and how they vary. I have the 27" ovens and they are a lot larger than my previous 27" Kenmore. I think the controls are clumsy. I am always shutting off the oven when I want to put more minutes on the timer.I think the manual could use more work with examples of how to use the convection features with maybe a few recipes.

Oven is too loud and doesn't heat consistently.

I have always owned Whirlpool appliances, so when I remodeled my kitchen I chose Whirlpool. What a mistake. Ovens sound like an airplane motor and doesn't stay at the correct temperature. Hate it.

large interior, even heating

We switched to a the Whirlpool from GE profile ovens. The Whirlpool has a larger interior, and even heating. We like the steam cleaning option. Our previous oven failed because the electronic controls failed. One issue with electronic controls is the exposure to heat apparently shortens their life. Whirlpool addresses this issue by running a cooling fan- the fan continues well after the oven is shut off and is a bit loud- but if it extends the life of the oven, it makes sense. The oven does not heat up particularly quickly, but we do like the different convection options (bake, roast and broil) and having a warming option on the bottom.

The oven seems to work very well. It does make noise when to is running however. Once it cools down the noise does stop but it is quite loud when running.

Lots of room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced an existing double oven with this one and have much more cooking space inside even though the outside measurements were the same. No problem baking, does well. Would like to see the time display centered. It is on the right side of the display and you are unable to see the full time if you aren't almost in front of it. Would also like to see the lettering of the controls to be bold. They are white on a gray background.
