Nice oven but...

This oven replaces a Whirlpool microwave and oven combination. This oven was 1/2 inch wider and we had to enlarge the wall opening, The installation was easy. We like the double oven and the clean lines. Controls are easy to read and the oven heats well and is easy to use. The fan is louder then expected. (On when the oven is heating and cooling.) We find it intrusive and annoying. We purchased the oven at a national home improvement retailer for over 25% less than retail, so we can live with the louder then expected fan noise. If the fan was more muted, it would be a great oven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Delivered a few days before Christmas Eve when it had to perform. And perform it did, baking 16 full pan pizzas flawlessly. They replaced 12 year old Kitchenaid ovens that had been all over the board in maintaining a temperature and ruining most everything. My only complaint is the sound level of the convection fan and the length of time it runs when cooling down.

Time saving is a definite plus

We bought our Whirlpool double ovens right before Thanksgiving and I am thankful we did since baking with convection made the turkey cook in less time and it came out very tender and juicy! I also cooked a spiral ham in the lower oven at the same time that turned out perfect also! I'm so glad that both ovens are self cleaning which will definitely make my life easier!
