This range is both attractive as well as functional. The first time I used it was for all my Thanksgiving holiday meal preparation. Everything turned out great. My favorite feature, among the many that it has, is the dual cooking and warm zone elements on the ceramic glass cooktop, which made keeping all the food at the right temperature until it was time to serve easy and effortless. Oh, and by the way, the ceramic cooktop is super easy to clean and maintain! A great convenience. I haven't used the Aqualift oven cleaning technology yet, but I look forward to it--really! What could be easier than adding water, closing the oven door, pressing a button, and wiping up the residue. great technology!

Change for the better

My wife and I desperately needed an upgrade. We have 3 beautiful kids who deserves quality home cooked meals and this product totally came through for us. What a difference changing stoves made for us. This piece of ingenuity not only provides quality, it provides cleanliness and thats the best combo any parent wants for their family, especially for their kids. Oh, and easy to clean and maintain!!!

I recently purchased a new stainless steel Whirlpool electric range with solid black top. As I'm learning how to use its features, I am finding that it is easy-to-use and very efficient. I've baked, broiled, cooked on top, set the timer and the clock. The burners on the stove top react quickly--on and off. There is a light that indicates the oven top is still hot after it has been turned off. The oven indicates its temperature as it heats to the temperature you want.The only thing I haven't done yet is clean the oven. (It's not dirty yet!) The top of the stove is beautiful and easy to wipe clean.My only beef with it is trying to read the buttons in the back. In my kitchen, I turn on the light over the stove to see what I'm cooking on the stovetop. What this does is shade the indicators (oven, broiler, clock, timer), making it slightly difficult for this over-40 user to see what button I'm pressing and forcing me to get out my readers. My suggestion is to have a small light over those buttons that would make them easier to see.

Good basic stove and oven

So far the stove and oven have worked well. It's a good basic stove and oven. The storage drawer could be a little bit more substantial.

This range has been great for our family of 6. It is big enough for our needs. It cleans up with ease and has been a great value.The storage drawer is a little smaller than our previous range had. I had to rearrange a cupboard to make room for lids that didn't fit in the storage drawer with my pots and pans. Not a big deal, but I have quite a bit of cupboard space to make up for it.The only thing I have found slightly annoying is the clock. When setting the clock or the timer I can't hold down the up or down button and have it add up or down. I have to push it for each notch up or down in time that I need. Slightly annoying when you have to reset the time after a power bump/outage. It does have a nice bright blue display for the time, however.Overall, I have been very happy with this stove/oven range.
