Disappointed in quality

Purchased stove to replace a white Whirlpool stove. Same basic model. VERY disappointed in quality. The bottom storage pull out drawer is VERY cheap, small and flimsy. The lack of back lighting on the key pads makes if EXTREMELY difficult to see the controls for the stove. In addition the all black top(instead of gray/ black) is impossible to keep clean.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We purchased this range about two months ago. I cook/bake/roast EVERYDAY! I researched several ranges and talked with a lot of people. I felt there could be too many problems with convection ranges so went with a traditional one. I couldn't believe all the wonderful reviews on this particular range, but now I realize everyone was right on target. This is our first Whirlpool appliance and it definitely will not be our last. A few of the comments I read talked about cleaning - as with any appliance, especially black, it has to be cleaned/wiped after each use and it should never be a problem. After daily use the range and oven look brand new. Love it!
