Not what they used to be

As with any appliance the manufacturer has to cut corners to make a profit. I am really disappointed with the quality of the surface on the stove. Pots and pans slide every where and it is super hard to clean in spite of using the cleaner. You feel like you are waxing a car. The top is nothing like they used to be. Every brand has messed up going to the cheaper smooth tops. Does not matter what brand you buy. I have checked them all out before buying the one I have.

My great new stove is easy enough for a single dad with 2 kids to use with it's panel of features I have no problem understanding how easy it is to use.

Love the cooktop!

Purchased this range after the cooktop on our previous stove (9 yrs old) cracked. Am enjoying the speed and even cooking temperature of both the top and the oven - seems to be far more even than previous model. Do not, however, like the storage drawer at all. It is flimsy, not as deep, and no handle. I recognize the drawer was made smaller to enlarge the oven, but keeping my calphalon in the drawer - as we have always done - is proving challenging because of the weight. The shorter interior sides on the drawer allows the lids to slip out and down underneath the range - incredibly frustrating.

I got this about 2 months ago and absolutely love it. It heats up quickly and oven bakes wonderfully! Can't praise it enough. Am very happy with my new stove!

"Little Space to 'Chill' - In OUR Senior Condo......

This Spring I felt it was time to give up the 'old homestead' and settle into easier living conditions. The over- all senior apartment we moved into was great...except that KITCHEN. The fridge, 1960 edition (possibly) could not hold enough fresh food and meats for two. Stove, older than mud....the burners were uneven and wouldn't hold a pot on without it sliding to the center or back of the stove.The oven...well it burnt everything to a crisp. Finally- convinced the 'old' man that if he wanted some decent food without the char, he would have to take me shopping. We did it!!! We found the perfect Whirlpool stove and refrigerator. One with a bottom freezer. (Really has saved on my back.) My stove was perfectly leveled and I love the smooth, adjustable temperatures that one can expect from their Whirlpool appliances. Love using the oven and haven't burned any food since. I politely requested the landlord remove their old appliances. I figure this will be my last move and home and I might as well be happy with my kitchen appliances.
