I like to use easy appliances that's one reason I bought a whirlpool microwave as well. This stove is easy to use and easy to clean. The price is right as well as I am retired and on a fixed income.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Review-whirlpool 4.8 smooth-top self-cleaning range

I have been very happy with the performance of the range. The appearance is update, it is easy to use. this is the 1st smooth top range I have used, so I was a little apprehensive coming from a range with coil-burners. Cleans up nicely -I am using the manufacturer's recommended cleaner. The stove preheats from 0-350 in less than 3 minutes which is considerably faster than my old range. I am excited to have a more energy efficient range.

The product can be improved its safety by having an element on warning signal light on both sides of the knobs. The hot warning signal light should be in the center of the panel. The current set up is confusing.

I have own the stove for maybe 3 months and I love it it's easy to clean gets got very quickly. I love how the burner has 2 different sizes on one

The stove is just that, a stove, it does what it is featured to do. However, I was not happy to find that a $800 stove does not include a broiler pan and insert but is available for an additional $50 from a part distributor. I can not even order the part from Whirlpool, not that I would. I will think very hard about purchasing other Whirlpool appliances. I am replacing my washer and dryer soon and I'd be afraid of what they did not come with. Perhaps you have to buy an agitator separately it you wanted your clothes clean.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
