This product has convenient features

I purchased this range because it has a dual burner plus 2 other small burners. The prior range I had was only a few year old, but only had 2 small burners. Since I am only cooking for two people, the small burners are the ones I need and use most. The oven on my new Whirlpool heats up much faster. I also like the control panel design. It looks nice and does not seem to get as many splatters while cooking.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Preferred the features of my last Whirlpool range.

This unit replaced a 10 yr. old Whirlpool range. Only replaced because new unit was less expensive than repair cost for the computerized panel replacement. Preferred the older model over this new one. Stove top was "muted" surface that did not show every little spot like this black smooth surface does. Also, the "hot surface" on the older range alerted the user of "which" burner was hot. The new range only has "hot surface" notice. The user can only guess - which one?? Differenct size of bottom drawer. The new one is much smaller. New range feature of variable size burner is helpful, but does not get as hot as the other 3 burners.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The oven heats up quickly. The glass top is easy to keep clean. The control panel is easily wiped clean

My New Electric Range

At 21 with 41 years of experience, I just bought my first home - much less a brand new home. All my appliances are whirlpool which I love, but I was torn on how to rate this oven. The oven and all it does is absolutely fabulous. I especially love the "Self Cleaning." My only negative thought is about the stove top. They work great, I love that one of the burners has two options, however, dealing with the glass top. Not only is it difficult just because of the cleaning of it, but it scratches VERY EASILY. Now, I apprehensive about using my pots and frying pans on it, but I now completely remove the pot or pan off the surface just to stir things. Do you have suggestions? Buying a brand new set of pots and pans in not an option. I would love suggestions if anyone has one.

Just what I was looking for

My only disappointment was the bottom drawer. It is not as deep as the whirlpool I had, don't know why because it looked like wasted space from the back, so rearranging was necessary.
