I bought this range about two weeks ago. I wanted to duplicate the features I had on my old range, which is why I chose this model. This range has all the features I had, plus more. I am very pleased with the oven rack that opens for split cooking as I always have many things baking at once and this feature will make my meal planning much more efficient due to the split rack. I also like the fact that there are three oven racks. That also makes for more effective meals. Additionally, I like the configuration of the stovetop and the fact that I can put smaller pots on the front burners.

Sleek, modern style!

Our previous oven/stove was over 15 years old...needless to say, it was time to upgrade. My husband and I wanted to get a new, stainless steel model. This electric range was exactly what we were looking for! Compared to some other models that we saw, this Whirlpool range was sleek and modern with a large door window and clean lines. We LOVE the "rapid pre-heat" option for baking! It's easy to use and very quiet! This is a perfect addition in our kitchen! Thanks Whirlpool!

This stove is so very new for me. I really enjoy using it. The convection is so nice to use and easy. It make baking a joy. Since it was so new to me I had to study the user book. I wasn't much at baking things, but, with this stove I find myself doing more. I haven't had to clean it yet so can't respond to that.

Purchased the range in mid-april & have been using it for @ a month & a half. Roasts & broils very well. Like the staggered heating layout on ccoktop. Oven capacity was important factor because we do a 30 plus lb. turkey @ thanksgiving! ALso think the range is an attractive addition to the kitchen.

Newer Whirlpool = decreased quality?

We've always had (what seemed to be high quality) Whirlpool appliances, so when my old Whirlpool (nearly 30 years old) started dying, we decided to stay with that brand. I was disappointed upon receiving this stove, that getting a closer look at it gives the impression of lower quality. Add to that the fact that it really IS hard to teach an old dog new tricks, as this is my first experience with a smooth cooktop stove - am a little intimidated by the fear of messing it up and sometimes long for just a plain old-style electric range. Once it's pushed into place it's not quite as easy to see the shortcomings, except for the poorly designed drawer at the bottom - as others have stated, it may be difficult to keep it on track, and it just doesn't look right from the front, even when it seems to be on track. All that being said, its features are fairly easy to use (haven't used the cleaning cycle yet, but that sounds worrisome) and it does seem to perform well. I always wanted one with the 5th unit on top, but now wonder exactly why I thought I needed one just for keeping something warm - maybe that will come in handy later. I got this in white to match existing appliances and got this particular model because I liked the way the knob portion looked better than others and it had the larger oven. Although now I'm not sure why I thought I needed the biggest oven!! Overall it seems to be a good unit, but I'll have to use it longer (only had it a month or two) before I can give a totally accurate review. If I had it to do over again, I probably would shop around more first.

Ease of Use

I purchased my Whirlpool range about six weeks ago. I was pleased to see how large the interior cavity was and it easily accommodated multiple pans of food during the holidays. The cook top has two burners that heat extremely fast and are time savers. The display guides you through all the steps needed to set the stove correctly. I purchased this on sale and think it is a super purchase!
