Huge oven

I bought the oven about six weeks ago. I chose it specifically because I wanted a large oven and black with only a small amount of stainless trim. It works okay, but I've had trouble getting muffins that I've made for years to brown properly without drying out. I'm surprised at how flimsy the metal sides and storage door are, and it has a very sharp point on one side of the oven door handle. The oven also throws off a lot of heat, something I was hoping would have improved over the years. I guess I was expecting more for the price and for it being American made. I haven't yet used the cleaning option, so I hope it performs well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Broiler works great, just like the oven and burners. Only had the unit 2 weeks, no problem yet. There is NOT a lot of Stainless on this oven...mostly glass (huge oven door window).
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the convection oven - worked great over the holidays. I did get a little scratch on the stove top the first day but not real noticeable and have not had any problems. It can be difficult to keep clean on the top - just takes getting used to. Be sure to use pots/pans without any ridges or raised lettering on the bottom to avoid scratching surface. It works and looks good.
