As an "senior" user and relatively tall I find that I must bend down much further down than I did with my previous appliance. I do like the Quietness of the appliance.

adequate fridge

One problem arose: when the fridge door shuts, the freezer doors opens & at times doesn't close unless shut by me....I'm going to call to see if it's a adjustment issue easily fixed, or a structural issue.

By adding space on the door for oversized containers, the designer took away from storage space in the actual refrigerator and freezer. I cannot store much at all in either space even though the overall size of storage area is among the largest of any brand. Placement of the temperature controls and lightbulbs on the top and front of the refrigerated area forces me to stoop down to see behind them and to see what is where on the top two shelves. I selected this model from a web page, sight unseen, because it has shelves that can be staggered. However, the center brace for the shelves stops 2 notches higher than the two outer braces essentially limiting just how much I can adjust my shelves. I wish I had just bought one without split shelves and without large door storage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
