Great for Solo Artists. Not so much for others.

I bought an EON One two weeks ago with hopes that it would work great for my acoustic duo as I was tired of lugging 120+ lbs of PA equipment to gigs. As other reviewers have noted, there is a serious lack of gain available for channel 3 & 4. You need a very strong pre-amp (i.e. stomp box boost/compressor) if you intend to plug your instruments directly into these channels and have any volume.
Channel 1 and 2 are great for vocals. The best attribute about this unit is that the vocals are crystal clear. In fact, this unit seems to be designed for 1 vocalist and 1 guitarist. When used for two vocalists (channel 1 and 2) and two instruments (channel 3 and 4) the unit could not maintain that great, transparent sound that JBL is known for.
Despite having a dedicated subwoofer my acoustic bass guitar was lost in the mix because the mixer's signal processing seems to compress / squash the sound so much that it was reduced to a mere atonal thud. I am not talking about the internal limiter which will indicate/light if the system is driven too hard, I am talking about obvious internal compression that is applied to overall mix to the determent of bass signals. You would never know that the system has a subwoofer because the bass was serious lacking... so buyer beware.
Other nits... the reverb is not great (Harmon also owns Lexicon). In fact dialing in more than 9 o'clock is unusable. As others have noted, JBL needs to add more "real channels" (separate pre-amps/EQ), more power (no way the LF is 280W) and a couple of mid-range drivers to the array and it would be a real winner.

I bought this speaker for small gatherings, parties, and to have some pumping music in my shop. It is perfect for what I’m doing! I recently let a family member use it for a wedding reception and it filled a large room with sound and had a full sound across the spectrum. Very pleased!

I purchased this unit to use with a vocal duo with guitar, percussion and 2 vocal Mics. The unit had the proper inputs to allow me to leave the old PA with mixer, speakers, monitors and stands behind. Or so I thought. I bought this over the alternatives because of the 2 mic channels and other inputs for guitar and percussion processor. The mic preamps (or lack of them) are detinitely an issue. We use a SM58 and Shure wired headset mic and without some type of mixer or inline preamp there's is insufficient level. I wanted a standalone unit and still have to carry a mixer or mic preamps. We played a gig and another act had a competitor's unit that did not require a workaround. I also played percussion for a band that had a different competitor's unit and again, no problem. Pegging the mic gain and bringing everything else down results in insufficient volume. The issue disappears when using external preamps. Everything else about this unit is excellent. Yes, the tower segments are tight but they don't rattle or vibrate under heavy bass. Sound quality and coverage is great once you work around the mic issue. Bluetooth works great. It would be 5 stars if you could just plug and play.

I originally purchased one for ceremonies but got 2 for small events I DJ, clear sound nice punch on the low end. I was hoping JBL would come out with a louder option. But I have had no issues. Great design with the columns stored behind the woofer.

Do not think this should be advertised as a 6 channel mixer. only channels 1 and 2 are quality inputs, 3 and 4 are weak and no controls except volume, very weak signal as well. Output is RCA which I would expect from an off brand, not JBL. Should have been 1/4" or XLR. Bought for the 6 channel feature but very dissapointed, will be returning.
