I purchased 2 cases of these bottles from Sears and I am so glad I did. My husband has 1 to 2 batches going at a time. Since I purchased the kits we always have a batch or 2 going

I like these. Like the former, larger Mr Beer bottles, I expect these can hold beer without exploding. I like the way you can feel the progress of carbonation by how much the plastic gives when you press it. Because I read another review, I removed the snap off plastic rims on the caps so the bottles could seal more reliably when capped.

These bottles are different than bottles I bought just a year ago. These seem to be just fine, except the black plastic bottle caps that came with them would not seal due to tamper evident band bottoming out before the caps would seal on the top of the bottle. This wasn't an issue with the bottles I got last year.
Easy enough to fix, just remove the tamper evident band before putting the caps on the first time, but it took a few leaky bottles and some investigating to figure it out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have bought 20 cases of these to bottle my beer. It is great because of the ease of cleaning for reuse and caps are not just a 1 time either you can get up to 5 reuses before having to replace them another savings. And last you get 2 regular bottles of beer for each bottle. fills my 24 oz mugs perfectly.

These came with my kit and I had them laying around my place and figured why not give them a shot. I usually use glass bottles, but everyone gave them such a good review. Since I had them I tried them out and the beer turned out really flat I did 3 weeks fermenting in the lbk and 3 weeks bottling and then stored them in the fridge for a few weeks and they just ended up very flat. Just do yourself a favor and buy bottles and a capper, I have had better experience with doing that.

this was the worst beer I've ever tasted. followed all directions very bitter some bottles leaked and the beer evaporated. extra aging has not helped!!!!

I have a lot of these bottles and I think the caps caused my beer to not be carbonated, thus I wasted a good bit of beer . I'm not 100% if it was the caps, bottles or carb drops...but I changed to glass bottles with a capper and using priming sugar and no more issue (I think maybe I didnt pay enough attention to the caps ...not sure ..I checked them and they are tight )
